I was around when Red Dawn and Terminator 2 came out. The government-Hollywood cartel were constantly trying to scare us into thinking we were gonna get nuked by the Ruskies any day. I even had nightmares that they nuked the moon.

A few years ago the sun suddenly came out after a month of gray and it momentarily scared the shit out of me because I thought a nuke just dropped.
