In similar situation as OP, finished the game last night with Perfected Ritual / Denial ending.

The final characters I got were: Sam, Sophie,Papineau, Hellen, Aster, Audrey and two punk kids that joined me one day before going out to the roof, so didn't get much use for them. .

From what I glanced in those threads, it seems I missed on over half of the characters/content, so it warrants 2nd playthrough on cursed difficulty. Any general advice you can give me to maximize on recruiting and encountering missable events?
Specifically, I'm interested in:
- time balancing - in my playthrough I spent majority of time outside of room, exploring and fighting while losing quite a lot of time by going to sleep late and oversleeping. Is it possible to spend the entire night outside room and carry on in the morning, or there are some sort of debuffs for missing sleep?
- Guest events - I guess those occur when staying at home, so I will need to spend more time playing vidya, right? I completed only 3 games and finished with 4 days left on my 1st playthrough, so should be doable.
- what timesinks to avoid?
- Do I need to go FAST in order to recruit some characters? If yes, what are the time gates during first 5 days?
- regarding iris keys and meat world, I found only one key (parking lot walls) which I used on the floor 3 TV, but found few other places where they could fit (Lyle's flat meat room, GF toilet, 2nd floor ocean, parking lot meat mass). Where do I find more keys? I get the feeling I missed most of Sybil questline because of it. .
- There were some key items I never ended using - last will, old photo, tongue, army man, mobile phone - what kind of questline they are for?
