>It's hard to side with her when she dumps on Phenomaman so hard
I really don't like rebound shit generally. But surprisingly it didn't really bother me much at all with BB.
For one I really got the impression that she was already planning and in the process of dropping Phenomaman with or without us having entered her life. So I never got the impression she dropped him for or because of us.
AND Phenomaman is actually great. Love that guy. I can respect BB's taste in men and her reasons for ending it with him whatever the full story behind the breakup might have been (I am guessing his incompatible genitalia might have had a lot to do with it, but maybe I shouldn't assume too much), but I also very much respect how she stays good to Phenomaman throughout. She was already planning on how to help lift Phenomaman back up after dumping him.

It's true that she could have probably benefitted a lot from an extra scene or two in chapter 5 and 6.
But I find it a bit sad how many people seem to have cratered their opinions on her for the executive call of cutting a z-team member. As much as I wanted to help all of them, it was absolutely correct that they were were an unserious bunch. A fire and some potential consequences did truly do wonders to shape up the team even if it resulted in one sorry member getting cut. That stung but it was effective and who knows how long it would have taken for them to become proper heroes otherwise (if ever).

But I also feel like a lot of people over focus on blaming BB for the cut, and missing how she is pioneering the phoenix program at all. She clearly wishes to help people.
