Dragonspear came out right in the midst of that, and when Beamdog got negative feedback about using Minsc as their mouthpiece they went on a ban spree against anyone that didn't support it.

I hear after the game flopped and they lost BG3 because of how bad the Enhanced Editions and Dragonspear did, they removed the line.
