What anon is trying to say is that Nobility has never had to suffer for its failures, that's the peasantry's job. So why should modern Nobility be any different? The CEO class really is just feudal caste systems renamed, they even operate from family blood lines.
Which is why modern society sucks and everything is going to shit: divine bloodlines are a terrible way to judge the competency of your rulers. Most of our CEOs suck, and the ones who run companies into the ground simply go on to rule other companies and repeat the process. None of them understand the value of money or what their company does to produce value, nor do they care, because nobility will always stick to bailing out nobility to maintain our feudal state.
This isn't even a commie thing, Capitalism dictates that these people should only be allowed to fail once. When the banks were bailed out in 2008 they may as well have formed a Royal Court because our current system is akin to medieval kings giving lordships out.
