For me it's Schrodinger's skin. Some areas I imagine as feeling like smooth skin, and others as being soft, fine coat. "Fluff" gets imagined in places like the chest and the ears, but not much else.
I was trying to find examples of it in my art, but... It seems I rarely, if ever do fluff anymore.

I suppose I like it the opposite. Couldn't say why. Maybe because that's the usual portrayal of them (Octavia being elegant and Vinyl having gremlin energy). Granted, most of it hinges on my ideal Vinyl being more mature than most give her credit for. Octavia being "rounder" was mostly just a way to differentiate their facial features in a more obvious way.
