Poke her under tower
Rotate to crab fights first, rotate to dragon fights first, Dive her with your jungle once you've poked her enough
Zoning off the wave does nothing because you're just sitting in an empty lane while your jungle is playing 1v2 getting raped up and down the river
THIS is how you play midlane not like a scaling pussy

Qiyana might be the best champ in the game at level 3
You actually can win every against every other champ in a fight as long as you exploit a weakness
She has ranged poke and burst to beat champs that want to take long extended trades
She has a strong AS steroid and mobility to get on top and punish champs who have long cooldowns or burst patterns
And you have stealth to get away from ganks or just invalidate auto attack champs

But it does take so much time and knowledge. If you pick the wrong timing or wrong strategy you get blown out and qiyana is utter dogshit if she falls behind with no chance of getting back into the game.
It’s a very fun and intellectual champ, high risk but highish reward
