This Republic has survived 250 years when the going notion for the men who crafted its design believed republics couldn't even work on that scale, has survived two outright civil wars, and countless other "calamities". Is it perfect? No, but that's why it has survived - in large part BECAUSE the Senate has stonewalled outright partisan interests from taking over the whole thing. Whether or not it can survive the mass disinformation fed to low-IQ retards who take everything they see on tictac at face value is yet to be seen but I seriously doubt it will rattle the foundation enough to cause any major cracks.
