Russian Forces Strike 14 Settlements in Zaporizhzhia Region

Russian forces have launched 578 attacks on 14 settlements across Ukraine's southern Zaporizhzhia region in a single day, according to local authorities. The wave of attacks involved airstrikes, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), and artillery.
The strikes included six aerial attacks on the towns of Orikhiv, Novodanylivka, Preobrazhenka, and Malynivka.
Ukrainian officials reported that 421 drones, primarily first-person-view (FPV) models, targeted ten communities, including Huliaipole, Kamianske, and Mala Tokmachka.
Additionally, four rocket barrages from MLRS hit Kamianske, Malynivka, and Novodanylivka. A further 147 artillery strikes were recorded across seven settlements in the region.
Authorities received 26 reports detailing damage to residential properties, including private homes and apartments. No civilian casualties were reported in connection with the attacks. This follows a similar barrage a day earlier when 542 strikes were reported in the same region.
