2 problems with pokemon:
the more mons you make the lazier and less creative they become and the volume brings the overall interest of each generation down. 2, allowing multidex disincentivizes players from using and exploring the new generation of monsters.
the problem with gen 3 and really all gens after is that they cut major features that were in gen 2 like the day/night cycle for one. gen 2 took everything from gen 1 and expanded upon it. It’s a shame really because I think the graphics in gen 3 are great but again there’s less of it, no sprite animations etc. 3 was the decline of pokemon and its only gotten worse since. not interested in hearing a zoomers opinion about his first DS game
