Because /tv/ recognized that the left was taking over their shows and media and weaponizing it into one big autistic firehose directed at the right. It got annoying, firstly for right wingers for obvious reasons, then for moderates, and the past few years it's even turned lefties away. People are just sick of the same narrative over and over, especially since all the left did when they were in power recently was fuck up everything much worse than they pretended Trump did.
/co/ for some reason has this double, triple, quadruple down mentality, die on even the most ridiculous of hills. They've watched the woke left cannibalize their favorite comics and cartoons into unrecognizable and uninteresting brown slop, and will be the first in line to complain about how bad the state of affairs is, but can't seem to figure out exactly what is causing it despite the answer being right in front of them, and when they don't like hearing said answer they will just scream "keep /pol/ shit off /co/" (which by of course they only mean strictly right-wingish political takes).
