What's the verdict here on how Louisiana ranks as a fishing state? I see some people easily say it's a Top 5 state in that regard, but then others not even listing it off in the Top 15-20 states and having it middle of the road rank wise.
I live in the South Central part of the state, so I'm biased. I think a few other states like Florida and Alaska easily beat it without any debate, and I think it has some arguments against it for not being Top 5 (The Northern part of the state is not exciting, coastal salt water fishing is mediocre unless you go out really far) but I don't think it's really "middle of the road" like I see other people put it. Maybe in the lower middle of Top 10 is fine (#6 or #7)?
Slap some sense into me and call me retarded if I'm wrong here.
