>they feel like anything that isn't support for their raid is 'defending Aether's honor' which is interesting because they perceive him to have one in the first place, despite being an unoffensive fictional character. but then the rant about tourists, commonly used for women, and 'troons' seems to be what upset this poster in particular the most. if it's someone who falls into either category then they would automatically not be entitled to any 'honor' that would be granted by default to man to defend, giving a reasonable explanation of where the incessant bitterness about the male version of the MC (since there isn't a canonical one) comes from. even though both sides are guilty of shitposting, this one is notably more active and i doubt it's really one schizo samefagging or bots as i've seen people say before. i feel like i've witnessed this same bitter behavior towards males from females and the likes in real life, the parallels just kind of piqued my interest.
