Kek.
It's quite funny how Turkey were kicked out of the F-35 program, only for them to make their own stealth fighter.
Esp when considering that non NATO members have been offered the jet (like India), and IIRC Finland even bought it before joining NATO.

It will probably be less advanced in some ways, but the Turks already have a whole airborne combat system based on supersonic stealth drone (for hunter and recon roles), subsonic very stealthy drone (bomb/missile truck and recon) and now it will be integrated with the stealth fighter jet.
I would be willing to bet that it is also more maintainable than the F-35, cheaper and faster.

In the end, selling the F-35 to Turkey would have been better for Greek security.
When will the F-35 have its flying wingman program?
Where is nEUROn?

I can't believe I'm saying it, but it seems Turkey is becoming the military aviation lead in NATO.
