Guys playing girls makes me feel uncomfortable. I'd prefer not to allow it. I could type up some autistic essays about how men in society are constantly pressured to repress their feminine sides and that leads to overcompensation in behaviors like playing women in online games and other spaces, turning a certain girl's cartoon into an internet phenomenon of biblical proportions, and other stuff.

But I hate seeing it in TTRPGs because there's always going to end up being a romantic subplot and it's never not fucking squicky to watch a presumably straight man roleplay as a girl falling in love with another man. The worst part is how they'll lie to themselves about why they're doing it. "oh I just like looking at girl butts in vidya games" "oh I'm just roleplaying a make believe character for unspecified reasons" but the subconscious baggage that's feeding into it is so blatantly obvious it's just hard to be around.

I've only seen one instance of a man playing a woman that's not cringe af and that's Bitsy from Avantris.
