Sorry, I recontextualized your post and I understand it a BIT better, but you should already be able to extrapolate what is likely to happen based on historical examples, as well as current economic and societal trends

The long and short of it is:
- Fat on bodies meant that you had more than adequate resources to survive and not have to starve or constantly engage in physical activity to survive
- Our brains evolved to find that attractive because it meant our bloodlines would continue
- In a post-scarcity society it isn't as prevalent a thought, but it still lingers somewhat

We are supposed to be so far past the survival struggle that it shouldn't be this way, but it is. We will never truly return to hunter gatherer short of an apocalypse, and if food/drink control is maintained by people who are more profit driven than health conscious, there will never BE a return to a skinnier form such as you state.

We are out of the man vs nature stage of evolution and are firmly into man vs man, and nobody is winning. Fat fetishists will go nowhere, because fat is profitable so it will always be around.
