Part of me wants to imagine that Charis was caught in the hurricane/tornado + sphere ball combo and the axe just happened to go flying out of her hands and coincidentally landed on the Blue Dragon's spine, compared to how she did actually just kill the Red Dragon on her own.
It's not what happened but it would be really funny if it was.

I figured ebics were luck based, but I've gotten unlucky with some of them, or at least the non-yokai ones.
Granted, I've gotten some really nice girls like the Peryton and Ophiotaur, but I would really like to recruit the Arachnee and Catabolpas and instead I keep getting the exact same three or four ebics over and over and over again well after I already 'awakened' three of them and I swear every time I blind pull an epic rank it turns out to be one of those three ebics and the only silver lining is that at least they're just turning into those little cat medals now since those are worth more to me than awakening any of them is.
At least Ameri's almost maxed out, though. So that's a silver lining I guess, since she's kind of a based retard.

I'm not actually sure who it was that landed the final blow this time, but I think it was Charis, because after the defensive line suddenly fell and it started lumbering forward Charis became completely submerged in a giant water bomb twice her size and a bunch of tornados came out, and then suddenly I see her tiny little rooster-shaped axe head peak out and slam down and all at once the water magic is gone and the thing falls down on top of her. But she did it! Another ten floors cleared without her getting knocked out once.
Honestly not as hard of a fight as the Red Dragon was but the constant deluge of slimes was a lot more annoying so it kind of evened out. I like how the surroundings change with each boss, too.
