To my understanding, based on what Jesus it's written to have actually said, he'd probably think most Christians today totally missed the point of his teachings. Aspiring to follow in his footsteps and worshipping him as an idol are two very different practices. That's not even delving into how absolutely hypocritical and morally bankrupt nearly every church is these days. I don't think Jesus wanted to be worshipped. In Luke 22, he asks the father to spare him suffering if it is possible, but says if not, then "thy will be done." Everything he taught was about submitting to the divine will, the kingdom is within, etc. - not about building up a cult of personality around himself. Others did that after he died, as most people want simple, easy answers. That's why the path is hidden and the gate is narrow. Fwiw, I'm not a Christian or an Abrahamist at all, but I definitely see the value in it - positive and negative.
