Yes, but no. A not insignificant number of tracks are simply half or less of the original song followed by a bunch of musical waffle. At least off the top of my head.

Having said that, I'll throw in a few. One of the best Pokemon Center themes AND renditions of the main theme, and possibly the Battle Tower while we're at it? The Barry choice illustrates my point but I likes it. You can tell Kageyama is one of the regulars in a better environment for his shtick.

I'm doubting it, sadly. It was terrible at launch and basically saved by Covid-induced video game spending, as I understand it (I started playing far later) and while it's much better now in total content it seems to make "good for it's budget" money, not "Pokemon money". Ironically it DID just get a mode that would make for decent single-player endgame content literally a week ago.
