Nah in The Acrobat episode Marcelino convinces a monkey who was tired of his work to exchange places because he thinks that by becoming an acrobat monkey he could go to different places and he could find her mother, if your theory was right Candela could have used this oportunity to take away Marcelino from the church and Jesus (the monkey was working with herin a show) but instead she goes with the monks explain them the situation and deside to teach Marcelino a Lesson with him going back to the church to live as a normal kid.
