they've done this before and the supremes are fucking sick of it, and warned the lower courts accordingly in the last opinion. the judge knows it'll get overturned and is basically stalling for time. the judge is taking the risk of being the one that gets censured by potus for fucking around. we'll see what happens, but the judge is going to get overturned on appeal, either in the appeals court itself or the supremes.
