I'm in the camp that leveling should be a journey, which it totally has been for me in Classic.
Visiting all the vistas the game had to offer, getting a group going and getting to the dungeons, doing normal yellow quests on the road and the MSQ stuff, while killing BAMs when I see them, was honestly very fun.
Tera art direction is phenomenal.
One thing that also seriously shocked me was that the game actually rewarded you for visiting stuff out of bonds.
I don' think I've ever seen a MMO do that, usually devs would patch these sort of things out real quick.
Meanwhile the Tera devs put those World of Wordscraft things and achievement in these crazy spots, that's so cool and funny.
The only real bad thing I could say about Tera (in classic at least) was that the BGM and OST of the game is surprisingly super weak and generic, but from what I heard it improved a lot in this regard later down the line.
(I say surprisingly because usually OST/BGM are usually one of the main appeal of KRMMOs game, even from those in 00s like Flyff, RO, Mabinogi...etc).
