“Absolutely!” you reply, clenching your fists and powering back up. Bringing your full remaining strength to bare as your aura blazes. To which Freeza smirks, clenching his own fists. His Golden aura blazing even higher than before, strength dwarfing your own.
“Good. Because now I'm not going to hold back, even slightly! And with the full, unbridled might of my Golden form, I shall push you beyond your limits! SHYAAAAAAA!!”
And before you've fully registered his shout he's already closed the distance, slamming his right fist into your guts before you can guard yourself. His heavy blow knocking the wind from you, as well as knocking you off your feet. Sending you flying dozens of yards back before crashing to the strange ground of the time chamber, rolling to a stop flat on your chest. But before you can even start pushing yourself upright, Freeza kicks you in the guts, lifting you up into the air from the force of his kick just to take a left to the jaw. Where you feel something crack, his blow again sending you flying.
“DAMMIT!” you think to yourself, flipping back once and landing on all fours, kicking off the ground and taking to the air as Freeza closes in again. But he doesn't give you a moment's reprieve, kicking off the ground after you. Closing in in a blur, firing a blindingly fast left at your jaw. You barely manage to raise your right in time, blocking his punch with your forearm. “Kch!”
“Come on, fight back Karn!” Freeza shouts, following his left up with a right, you blocking it as well. Forced completely on the defense as he attacks relentlessly, your entire being focused on guarding against his attacks. Arms raised, doing your best to stop his onslaught. Yet for every punch and kick you block, another two break through your guard to land true. He relentlessly attacks you until, with a final right to your temple, everything goes dark. Where you find yourself floating in the void once more for several seconds, until a familiar warmth begins spreading throughout your body. And your eyes open, finding Freeza looking down at you in concern. “There you are. Forgive me, seems I was wrong in my evaluation.”
“Freeza?” you ask, the world feeling as if it's spinning. “Wh-?”
“I had thought that this form would appear when pushed to your physical limits, like before. That the stress of battle would push you over the edge, and ascend.” he says, sounding a little guilty. “But it would seem this hypothesis was incorrect. Sorry.”
“You're about half right.” you reply, sitting up, your body feeling refreshed and revitalized by the Bottomless Divine Blessing, tapping your head as you continue. “Battle helps. But it's not about me physically. It's more up here.”
