On one hand I am very excited to be going to my very first con. But at the same time I can't shake the fear of possibility missing social opportunities and not making any memories or friendships and coming back home with nothing but a few knick-knacks and an empty wallet to sulk about. I know the only way forward is to try but I can't stop intimidating myself.
