President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić:

At the same time, we must keep equipping and strengthening our army. We’ve been rearming smartly. I watch how others arm themselves - everyone knows, everyone has learned the ropes - but we are a bit smarter, and we must keep going.

We need to invest a lot and work hard so we can protect our country. We must further strengthen our air-defense forces and, above all, try to build some kind of protective dome over Serbia - which is very difficult and demands a lot of money.

I won’t say more about these plans, except that we must be able to protect our people and our country."
