You're working really hard, sweatin like a dog, unconsciously trying to overcome your facial and hairline shortcomings. There are mirrors in most gyms, some are positioned towards eachother in a corner. Look at yourself in the reflection of the reflection, that is how others see you. If you look at a mirror facing forward (you observing yourself) you will subconsciously position yourself in angles that are biased and self-flattering. Dont even think about getting extra close to the mirror in hopes of light scattering evening out the harsh shadows, thats frauding. You will have some dissonance about what you see when you see yourself. This isnt the kind of feeling that you imagine that some imaginary /fit/tard on your shoulder telling you that you arent swole enough, its YOU making that judgement. Its a primitive but wise part of the brain that makes a quick stroke of the sword on your ego. You avert your gaze, pause, and then return to your set.

You then say to yourself "Huh, thats funny....."
