It's because it's tiny and fun to fiddle with.
i can't bring and "fiddle" with huge SS86 Devastator all the time. it requires thought and other transformers to fight and pose and crack those ratched joints.

Having a tiny blokee one on your desk to pose and do "pew pew" for a couple of minutes is a nice option.
