Nah I've been lurking there for the past few weeks. Sure the bad writing in the latest story packs is being criticized, but a good portion of people are completely mindbroken over the event story featuring hansen. I've seen people writing literal essays on how problematic the event story is.
Reminder: these are the same people who got triggered over a literal hand gesture, which is why the opening video of BD2 was removed. Even the Japanese aren't this pathetic.

Nta but nah that's not it. They wanted olivier to be like the virgin mary. The top posts right now are talking about how the new popular trend in storytelling is just harem and isekai slop and that the directors of BD2 are people in their 30s and 40s who don’t understand this new direction.
It’s kind of funny because harem isekai slop isn’t anywhere near as mainstream as some of the recent big anime ips like csm, jjk, frieren or apothecary diaries.
