Natlan was a poorly designed mess of modern aesthetics, a rushed and rewritten Archon quest, a nonsensical break from patterns, a deliberate slap in the face to anyone who liked male characters, and basically screamed "fuck you" to people who enjoyed morally gray characters.

Nod-Krai is pulling away from all of that. It's giving proper attention and hype to its male cast, refocusing on the Harbingers, expanding on years-old lore that's been well-established, and is returning Genshin to its fantasy roots. No wonder people are so hyped and coming back.

Let's hope they don't fumble anymore, and we continue to get incredible writing and characters like we did with Sumeru and Fontaine.
