got any tax records of his, or even his family's? or literally anybody's? he had belongings right? records? they wouldve been roman subjects, those records should have been given to the roman state too. the book of matthew says his mother trekked 140km on foot while 9 months pregnant to take part in a fake roman census that required jews all travel to the tribal homelands where they claimed to have been living a thousand years prior, shuffling people into lands they didnt even live and defeating the entire purpose of a census, which is to easier levy taxes, because that totally makes sense and rome totally gave a shit about where jews had lived 1000 years prior.
