Sensei, Maia and the Squad enter the shortcut and descend into stairs going deep into the underground. As they go deeper, Atsuko feel an enormous pressure, as if someone is messing with her head, and she would faint if she loses her focus. Maia experience strong feelings of sorrow, fear and agony forcing themselves into her. As they reached the end of the shortcut, they found Subaru in a state that Maia finds unlike normal. Subaru says she knows what sensei wants to say, but first they need to move to a different location, for there are too many secrets hidden away in Porta Pacis and Arius.
