And the actual answer is that FGO is 10 years old and the audience that has stuck with it is ultimately settled into what its doing. Especially now that it's actively approaching the end of a major 7 year long story arc. There's not really reason to rock the boat at this point. FGO is the old man that is still doing pretty well for himself but will probably retire soon when he feels like it. No reason to get upset about him.
