what do you even do with her? I thought she was just supposed to be an off-field character that builds up stuns off-field and buffs yixuan, since yixuan wants to be onfield the entire time

There's only two variations for that mechanic, you can tell that pretty fast. Splatoon actually kinda false jukes you with that mechanic, because it shows you a potential safespot, and then adjusts when the bits spawn in. I actually turned off Splatoon for that mechanic because its easy enough to do natty. If you see someone go to a safe spot instantly before anything, and then adjust to the real safe spot afterwards they were most likely using splatoon.
The real splatoon indicators are in phase 2. Basically all the mechanics.
