oh also according to the metadata they are being parsed correctly, and i even made a tool to make sure all my pools were closed properly. so im going to change my answer and say comfy does it by default.
or is you me the positions and shit, well i got them from e621 and pretty much anything pony based will read them fine, and illustrious seems fine as well.
