Mario Kart World is still a better game than all of the games you mentioned, it just functionally does not have an online mode since Nintendo ruined Worldwides. The intermissions are about as fun as dyspepsia.

If Worldwides worked like in MK8, MKW would be worthy of GOTY alongside E33 and Silksong.
