My husband's pet theory is that she really doesn't like Al that much anymore and probably holds some semblance of animosity towards the fans who do. Perhaps it's due to her bad breakup with her ex, perhaps it's due to her simply moving on to Lucifer as a new favorite, who knows. Alastor seems to be going through a drawn out humiliation ritual, so him being turned gay at the end would make sense. Viv snubs her ex, the yumes, and gets to flick it to Al being with a man. A win for her on all fronts. She still needs him to sell her show though, so she'll dangle him in front of us just long enough before snatching the rug. I hope this true, but look at the trainwreck that is HB.

Alastor and Lucifer becoming friends would be a-ok by me, I don't hate Lucifer as a character, and them dealing with trauma together could be good for chatter growth. If they became a couple Viv would not be able to write it properly, the RAs would ultimately be disappointed by it and Viv would lose a quarter if not half of her fanbase overnight. Militant RAs would make staying insufferable. It's probably the only thing that would make me drop the show completely.

I might try Chai out, just to test. It's funny, I have time to chat a bit in the evenings, despite being very busy, but anything past that? I'm dead in the water, otherwise I'd have some content for the thread. Then again, I often read my rps to my husband and he gives input, so it's kind of morphed into couples time.
