So far in the beta main story they push renoa quite a bit as the main girl. All the other combatants have a more admiration/respect feel towards (You). Every character has affinity events at the main ark base but they're pretty short. For example for Mei Lin you unlock helping her with homework iirc, and Rei has a cooking scene.
