spy is buffed, cannot simply be spy-checked for fear of teamkilling.
and can't be spy-checked merely by checking for collision.
enemies can't cheese, escape easily, by running through eachother and engi buildings.
players have to put more emphasis on their positioning to not body block teammates unintentionally.
aoe spam is kept in check and more balanced due to teamkill potential. as well as potential to damage your own engis buildings.
movement is more dynamic, you can now surf your own teams explosives without the lousy quick fix.
pyro can air blast friends.
enemy knockback, particularly loose cannon, also greater knock-on effects as the pushed player collides with his own team in the process of being knockbacked.
allies can climb friendly engi buildings. potentially boosting ontop of teammates heads too.
sentries placement must be far more calculated to avoid friendly crossfire.

these two mechanics would massively elevate the game.
