I'm advertising for everyone else to see it.

The English story and he Japanese story are quite literally different.

>Primals are not primal. When Ga-bu screams "Wake up!" in English and that summons Titan, he isn't awakening a primal force of nature. In JP he's screaming "take me with you" to his dead parents, and Titan is summoned by Ga-bu unintentionally - to kill Ga-bu and fulfill his wish.
>Astral and Umbral calamities are just called Spiritual Disasters, which ties into the whole soul split thing.
>The Twelve are basically non-existent in the script, outside of the alliance raid they're in.
>The Blessing of Light is just that shield that protects you from the Ultima spell. The EN script conflates the two constantly, but the JP script is very clear that what protects you from tempering is Transcendence.
>Dynamis isn't about emotion, it's about potentiality.
>The "aether-burner" engine of the spaceship in Endwalker is actually a black hole engine using gravity magic.
>Trachtoum obviously does not say "Leviabeetus". He calls Titan "Tako-tan", and Leviathan "Levia-chan". He also doesn't talk about shitting his pants or his small penis.
>The Ivy does not talk about ever having whored herself. This is added in the EN to match the A Song of Ice and Fire gritty tone they were going for.
>Momodi's entire comedic bit saying that Ul'dah welcomes hobo adventurers like you, and saying "we need your name for stuff like sending you out on missions, or knowing what to write on your tombstone" is gone, instead she talks about dicks.
>Quintus does not lament the fall of the "glorious vision" of the empire before his suicide, he genuinely expresses regret for what he's done and is committing suicide as an apology.
>The entire "by the Kami" thing is obviously not in the JP script. Kami and Gods are two very different concepts, but the EN script sort of just conflates them.

The list is endless.
