Dear, /mhg/

Today is a good day because it's what we in the Guild call a weekend and we don't have any assignments so I was able to get away from Erik and Alma and their constant requests so I went to the hub and there are friends here! Namely Kany and Ava Jyna Licher. So to hunts we went but let me tell you about our last hunt. A request to slay an Arkveld. For a supposedly endangered species they do pop up very often. Its appearance always irked me, like what kind of environment would cause a regular wyvern to turn into something like Arkveld? Like it wants everyone to know "oh hey yea i had a tough life and these chains are proof of that" or something. There's this kid at camp whose name I can't even recall who constantly self identifies as an Arkveld. I pay it no mind because I daydream whenever he starts yapping. He brings me stuff from other regions though so he's useful. But anyway regarding the hunt, it wasn't really difficult because the two I was with were total PROs. Ava with her mastery of Gunlance and Kany with his Great Sword. Blocks and Booms from Ava were perfect and while the well timed upswings of Kany always stagger the Arkveld until eventually we slayed it! It wasn't even a match for us so I don't what the Guild is so afraid of. Oh and I carted like twice because of too many drgaon energy and I can't see what's happening.... I wonder though with our guild having difficulty with Semi Elders like Gore what would happen if one of the Guild members end up finding actual Elders here? Would it spell the end our research in these lands? I just hope my skills are enough to handle them.

It both excites and terrify me.
