I brought it up before but I think Engage did a great job of giving characters out of combat outfits in the somniel that really showcased their personalities. It sucks that you couldn't use them in battle without mods but still. Three Houses should have done the same thing. I've said it before but having everyone wear their battle outfits all the time just looks ridiculous. You're telling me Alois always gets up every morning and puts on that big ass armor when going to eat breakfast? Hell no. Another thing that bothers me is how you can reclass anyone to anything and it makes units lose their unique model for their base class. They try to offset it with unique color palettes but it's not enough.
In a perfect world a character would have their "base" design, and only a few reclass options to have a unique identity all their own, and each reclass has either its own unique model or simply adds to their base design. They should also update the portraits to reflect that. And when they're just in the barracks not fighting they should all have a unique casual outfit like in Engage.
These characters are supposed to be their own person, stop making them just a head model copy pasted onto a generic class model.
Like why would my waifu Shamir reclass to a mage, her proficiencies are in bows, lances, and daggers, have her only in classes that would use that. At the very least her regular outfit is basically casual attire if you remove the shoulder guards and knee guards
