All cheap bathroom scales are going to be like this, they have both shitty precision and/or accuracy. The more expensive bathroom scales will usually be either be more accurate or more precise but usually not both at a the same time. Digital scales tend to me more accurate and they mask their lack of precision by using a memory, analogue scales tend to be more precise but tend to lack accuracy (though some models will let you manaully calibrate them to fix this if you have accurate weights around to do the calibration with)
