Not exactly. Idk if you saw that zizian cult thing, but it wasn't that far off. I was a software engineer living in silicon valley and fell into a crowd who more or less worshiped technology. Transhumanism more than illuminati, I don't think the illuminati are real but that's more associated with the old world elite my group was ideologically opposed to. This was around when ChatGPT was introduced to the public, but AI has been known in the tech world for a while. My group saw tech, AI specifically, as a way to truly unlock human potential and "create" God.

More or less. It's very engineer brained. More people=more "human capital" who can be engineers. More people to use AI and train it. It started very utopian but got pretty dark. Blowing up the stones wasn't exactly sanctioned by the leadership, it was initiative a mid level member took.
