What was the point of making a likable character into an irredeemable villain for the sake of a cheap twist, again? Is ZZZ's writing team retarded?

Who's going to be OBOL squad's commander now that Isolde got CLICK HERE'd? Magus? That one lady from SEED's animated PV? SAnby??

I think the worst thing about the villain reveal is that literally nothing would need to change if she wasn't the leader of the Exaltists. Sarah could have simply been the leader the whole time and Isolde could have just opportunistically taken the chance to kill Lucro and Lorenz and it would have been a much more morally ambiguous situation instead of yet another CLICK HERE villain. It's like they think adding a twist villain somehow elevates the story even though literally anyone could see it coming from a mile away.
