I think it's better this way, its a game Pekora really wanted to play and being included in it in the way that it is. I don't think you could ever get kojima to work on another game that isnt technically his again.
From the way Pekora made it sound, she doesn't even know that she's integral to the main story, I want to see how she reacts when she sees herself ingame the most.
