I have a theory on this, which also applies to the video game industry becoming feminized.

With the propagation of social media, men and women now share the same space (X, reddit, where-ever) for the majority of their communication. With the decline of social spaces inhabited solely by men (or women), the lines between masculine & feminine behaviors/thoughts/instincts have gotten blurred.

Men become feminine, and women become masculine. Because it's what they're constantly exposed to. Where-as 20 years ago, men spent most of their time with other men and they fed off each other increasing the overall masculine of the group and the individual.

So what you have now is all these faggots on the loose because they've been around women their whole lives. It's at the point where the hatred women have towards attractive women has bled into the male community and ""men"" have picked up on it.
