it is unusual to see men on the receiving end of "unwanted sexual" attention. in this case "sexual" is doing all the heavy lifting; in that someone of the opposite sex is specifically commenting on the looks of someone.
If you swap the sexes of the characters on the paper, it goes from "oh what a nice person" to "he's trying to get me in bed!!!"
Sometimes humor is unsuccessful because people are largely too stupid to get it.
