they’ve been dabbed on by gaijin jockeys even on their own turf. Even one of the good young jockeys like Sakai still fumbled in international races and doesn’t know how to deal with euro pacemakers.
Makes me wonder if JRA will loosen the restrictions for NAR jockeys. I doubt we’ll get a lot of new JRA jockeys in the future, with the JRA jockey school getting fewer students and graduates every year, the good ones getting older and older…
