Chance works like attached: when you take X amount of people farming the same stage, there will be a set amount of people on both sides of the extreme (e.g. 1 person gets 0/8 drops while another gets 8/8 drops) while the average person will land somewhere in the middle (1 person gets 4/8 drops)
