I sincerely like it, but if there's a way to make it optional it would be great too, I don't know if the psi-fields are actually random or manually placed, like anon>>534857470 said, I think it would be preferable to have certain places to have some 'set' psi-fields, I have found a psi-field on the roof in a house in Cordon (the one where nimble sleeps on) it felt strange.
I suggest to make them a little bit more lenient on the damage and duration, because there was some situations where I was on combat with some mutants and I had no option but to fight in a psi-field and I died because i was standing there for seconds, still... I like it since it gives the psi-oriented outfits to have more of a impact and a choice for the player, which I like, is there any kind of artefacts that brings some kind of psi-resistance?
Now that I think about it, it would be cool if the scientists can give you some kind of psi-protector for the player for the artefact inventory, it would be kind of neat, I don't know, what do you think?
